Online Registration

This year, Bethel University (MN) will host the 19th biennial ACMS Conference. As was done at our last conference, participants will be allowed to register online for the conference.

  • Dates: The conference begins with an evening meal and program on Wednesday, May 29th. The conference concludes with a worship service in the later morning on Saturday, June 1st. However, participants can stay in their room one or two extra nights (Saturday and Sunday) after the conference ends.

  • Check-in Time: The check-in time for the conference begins at 2:00pm on Wednesday, May 29th. Participants may not be able to get into their rooms until 4:00pm or 5:00pm.

  • Student Grants: Graduate and undergraduate students are encouraged to attend the ACMS conference and will have their registration, housing and food costs discounted by 50%. The ACMS will offer five travel grants up to $200 to graduate students for costs not covered by other sources. The awards will be made on a first-come first-served basis. To receive monetary support, graduate students must register for the ACMS conference and indicate on the form below that they are requesting a travel grant. Students selected to receive the travel grants should submit their travel receipts when they register at the conference. All reimbursed graduate students are expected to attend the events of the conference.

  • Spouses and children: Conference participants are welcome to bring spouses and children. Please indicate the ideal solution for your family on the housing choices and make sure you order as many plans or meal tickets as you and your family need.

  • If Both Spouses Attend the Conference: If both spouse attend the conference, we invite one spouse to register (individually), select the Couple or Family housing option, and indicate all the meal needs for the whole family. Then the second spouse will register (individually) but indicate Other housing option and not indicate any meal needs.

  • Housing: The on-campus suites available to conference participants include 3 bedrooms with 2 beds in each bedroom. Bethel has provided a suite diagram. The cost for housing is $25 per night per person. Children pay a one-time (not per night) fee of $10. There are 4 options for housing:
    1. Single room, shared suite. ($25 per person per night) Individuals will get a room to themselves but share the suite with two other conference members.
    2. Married couple. ($50 per couple per night) A married couple will be given an entire suite.
    3. Family with children. ($50 per couple per night and $10 per child) A family will be given an entire suite.
    4. Individual, whole suite. ($75 per night) An individual may choose to reserve an entire suite but must pay for all 3 rooms.

  • Package meal plan: The package meal plan covers all meals from Wednesday dinner through Saturday lunch, including the Friday night banquet and the Saturday boxed lunch. (The cost for the package plan is a few dollars less than ordering meals individually.) If you require fewer meals than the full package meal plan it is more economical to order meals individually.

  • Banquet option: In the Banquet Option field in the form down below, please indicate if you would prefer a vegetarian dish and use the space to indicate any food allergies. A blank entry will imply no restrictions on the meal. If a registrant and spouse both desire to attend the banquet, please write in the two desired meal options.

  • Payment: You may pay by credit card (prefered) or check. Registrants who use a credit card will be guided through the PayPal process. When done with the PayPal process, please click the link that returns you to the ACMS webpages. (Doing this will update the database file and tell us that your transaction is complete.) Registrants who pay by check should follow the instructions at the Check Out page.

  • Ride-Sharing From and To the Airport: The conference organizers are offering a ride-sharing system for transportation between the airport and Bethel University. Please visit the ACMS Airport Aggregator to take advantage of this cost (and ride!) sharing measure.
