Making Curriculum Decisions and the Nature of
Mathematics This paper clearly presents eight aspects of mathematics and contrasting perspectives in each that will affect the teaching of mathematics and the design of curricula. It also presents a collection of affirmations that could reasonably characterize a Christian perspective on teaching mathematics.
