Random Variables and a Sovereign God

This paper addresses the apparent conflict between the concepts of God’s sovereignty and the existence of random events in nature.  After reviewing the perspectives of various scholars, it concludes that the notion that God has built randomness into the universe is consistent with Christian belief.
